We play fair — here is how it works

By law, Elections BC publishes the name and amount of everyone whose contributions to a campaign total $100 or more. If you give $99 or less, your name stays off the public list — the campaign still records your name and address, as the law requires, but nothing is published. Either way is welcome. We would rather tell you this up front than have you find out afterwards.

Important

All contributions are made in accordance with the Local Elections Campaign Financing Act. Tax receipts are not available. The limit is your total for the campaign, across all contributions. Contributions are limited to $1,429.70 per eligible individual in 2026.

Donations are open to Canadian citizens and permanent residents who live in British Columbia, giving their own money. Your name and residential address are recorded as the law requires, and contributions of $100 or more are published by Elections BC.
