- Wildfire can threaten homes, infrastructure, transportation routes and the safety of residents and visitors.
- We cannot eliminate the risk, but preparation can make our community more resilient.
What I’ll Advocate For
- Continue strategic fuel reduction and FireSmart work across Whistler.
- Strengthen protection of neighbourhoods and critical infrastructure.
- Regularly test evacuation plans and make emergency information simple and accessible.
- Support implementation of Whistler’s updated Community Wildfire Resiliency Plan with practical, measurable actions.
